Leatha A. Muehlenfeld, 90, of Sunset Home, formerly of 1025 Madonna Drive, Quincy, died at 7:58 a.m. Thursday (July 26, 2012) in Blessing Hospital. Leatha was born Nov. 29, 1921, in Fall Creek Township, a daughter of William and Pearl Howerton Dodd. She married Arthur Muehlenfeld on Dec. 8, 1945, in Quincy. He died July 31, 1987. Leatha attended Quincy schools. She had worked several places and was last employed with Gommel Realty for 13 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish, Blessed Sacrament 60 and Over club and was a volunteer with Sunset Home Auxiliary. Survivors include her son, Steve (Mary) Muehlenfeld of Quincy; two granddaughters, Megan (Patrick) Fulling and Kristen Muehlenfeld, both of St. Louis; and a great-grandson, Jaxon Fulling. Leatha was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers. SERVICES: 11 a.m. Monday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Monsignor Michael Kuse conducting.
