She was a part of the Quincy community for 41 years and recently became a resident of Good Samaritan Home where she courageously battled Alzheimer's disease.

The family would like to recognize the wonderful staff who took such great care of Mickey during her time there.

She was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Brooklyn, Ill., a daughter of Donaciano and Soledad Gonzales Luna. On Dec. 26, 1955, she married Robert F. Buck in East St. Louis, Ill. He survives.

Mickey was the consummate sales professional and enjoyed a great career in home building sales. She was employed by Wickes Lumber, Furrows and Doors-N-More in Quincy. She was a member of the Church of St. Peter.

Mickey and her husband opened their home and hearts to many children as they finished high school, including Hildalisa Azcue and Antonio, Ignacio and Lina Gonzales. Her main interests were cooking, sewing and spending time with family and friends at the family's cabin at Lake of the Oaks, Canton, Mo.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, survivors include her brothers, Dan Luna of St. Louis and David Luna of Canton; a daughter, Debra Huttenburg of Chicago; her sons, Robert and his wife, Kathy, of LaGrange, Mo., David and his wife, Kimberly, of Quincy and James and his wife, Julia, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and seven grandchildren, Lucas, Jason, Jonathan, Harrison, Mackenzie, Courtney and Isaac Buck, who brought her much joy.
