HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Marjorie Bocock Drennan of Willow Care Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Hannibal, Mo., died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday (March 17, 2013). She was born March 5, 1920, in Ludlow, the daughter of James and Camilla Belle Shoaf Peer. On Jan. 21, 1945, she married Ellery E. Drennan in Rantoul. He died on Feb. 13, 1990. She attended Rantoul Township High School, and she was a bookkeeper for the U.S. government in Washington, Oregon, California and Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul during World War II. She moved from Rantoul to Rice Lake, Wis., in 1972. In 1992, she moved to Quincy. She was a member of Royal Neighbors of America, a former member of the Moose, and she was baptized in the Methodist faith in Ludlow. Survivors include two sons, Richard Bocock of Two Rivers, Wis., and Jon Steven Drennan and his wife, Ann, of Fort Myers, Fla.; and her daughter, Penny Powers and husband, Randy, of Quincy. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren as well as a cousin and lifelong friend, Imogene Tadlock of Rantoul. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jimmie Ray Bocock; a stepson, Larry Drennan of Four Oaks, N.C.; brothers, Franklin Peer, William Peer and Robert Peer; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Peer. SERVICES: Cremations rites were accorded per her wishes and a memorial service will be held at a later date at the Lux Memorial Chapel in Rantoul. Inurnment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Rantoul. MEMORIALS:
