Mary Mae Pryor, 56, of 2225 N. 12th St., died at 11:20 p.m. Monday (Dec. 30, 2013) in her home. Born April 11, 1957, in Kewanee, Mary was a daughter of James and Patricia Platt Willey. She married Lloyd Pryor on Nov. 17, 2003, in Quincy. He survives. She enjoyed crocheting and swimming and was honored by being named Military Spouse of the Year in 1985. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary loved helping and caring for others. She earned her CNA from John Wood Community College and had been employed by DORS in Quincy until her retirement due to health reasons. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; her mother, Patricia Shively of Quincy; a son, Dennis Lee Fortner, of Quincy; two daughters, ShunaSeaTossa Wooley (Shawn) of San Antonio and Candice Richmiller (Josh) of Quincy; eight grandchildren, Serenity Richmiller, Kaytee Fortner, Constance Richmiller, Rebekka Fortner, Alyssa Fortner, Zachary Richmiller, Joshua D. Richmiller and Brandon Wooley; three brothers, James E. Willey (April) of Quincy, Charles R. Willey (Josephine) of Mount Sterling and Rollie Joe Davis of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pryor was preceded in death by her father, James Willey; and maternal and paternal grandparents. SERVICES: Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Sean and Cassandra Grey conducting.
