Randall Ray Bruns Obituary
LEWISTOWN, Mo. -- Randall Ray Bruns, 56, of Lewistown, died at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 15, 2012) in his home.

He was born Sept. 3, 1956, in Keokuk, Iowa, a son of Raymond and Rosalie Agnew Bruns. He married Ellen Dill on May 12, 1984, in Lewistown. She survives.

Randy started working at a young age, 14, at a gas station in Lewistown. When he was a senior in high school, he worked at the Neiman's grocery store in Canton. He started working for J.M. Huber the day after he turned 18, on Sept. 4, 1974. He retired from J.M. Huber in April 1999 due to his health.

He enjoyed outdoor activities, which included deer hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and NASCAR race fan. He was very proud of his two grandsons and enjoyed spending time with them and his family. His kindness and jovial personality will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include a son, Chris Bruns of Lewistown; two daughters, Nicole (Jerry) Woods of Quincy, Ill., and Harlee Bruns of Lewistown; two grandsons, Tallen Turner and Billy Woods of Quincy; his parents, Raymond and Rosalie Bruns of Hamilton, Ala.; sisters, Lori (John) Wallace of LaBelle and Keela (Gary) Darnell of Lewistown; and brothers, Derek Bruns of Hamilton, Ala., and Devin (Tina) Bruns of Hackleburg, Ala. He is also survived by two nieces, Brittany Darnell of Canton and Emily Bruns of Fayette, Ala.; five nephews, Michael Wallace and Ryan Wallace of LaBelle, Chisom Darnell of Prior, Okla., Dakota Bruns of Russellville, Ala., and Jakoby Bruns of Hackleburg, Ala.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; a niece; and a great-nephew.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Monday in the Arnold's Funeral Home, Lewistown, with the Rev. Tim Smith conducting. Burial will be in the Lewistown Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bruns, Devin Bruns, Derek Bruns, John Wallace, Gary Darnell, Michael Wallace, Ryan Wallace and Chisom Darnell.

VISITATION: 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
