Richard Stice Obituary

LEWISTOWN, Mo. -- Richard Lee Stice, 39, of Lewistown, died at 9:39 p.m. Sunday (June 5, 2011) in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

A son of Russell and Roberta Brumbaugh, Stice was born on May 20, 1972, in Kirksville. He married Laura Murphy on Aug. 9, 2003, in Providence Baptist Church near Williamstown.

Richard was a member of the Lewistown Vikings Club and he loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his parents, Russell and Roberta Stice of Lewistown; his wife, Laura Stice of Lewistown; his children, Makaylee Stice, Dalton Kaylor, Dawson Kaylor, Camryn Stice and David Stice; a brother, Randall Stice and wife Teya of Palmyra; a sister, Rebecca Jones and husband Scott of Sturgeon; grandmother, Doris Brumbaugh of Lewistown; mother-in-law, Reva Brunk and husband, Jeff, of Revere; father-in-law, Butch Murphy and wife, Anita, of LaBelle; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry Brumbaugh and Warren and Elizabeth Stice.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Thursday in the Arnold's Funeral Home in Lewistown, with the Rev. Shawn McAfee conducting. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery near Lewistown.

VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Arnold's Funeral Home in Lewistown.

MEMORIALS: Richard Stice Memorial Fund at the United State Bank in Lewistown or left at Arnold's Funeral Home.

ARRANGEMENTS: Arnold's Funeral Home, Lewistown.
