Rosemary P. Doyle, 75, of 301 N. Eighth St., died on Sunday (Jan. 5, 2014) in Blessing Hospital.

She was born on March 5, 1938, in Chicago, a daughter of James Joseph and Katharine Hugenberg Doyle. Rosemary attended St. Francis Grade School and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Quincy.

She spent her working career of more than 35 years as secretary for Adams FS in Paloma.

She volunteered for Ladies of Charity, was "Queen" of the Red Hat Society of Sunset Apartments and was a member of the Ladies of St. Francis.

She is survived by a sister, Katharine Maas of Quincy; nieces and nephews, Jane Merker and her husband, Terry, Tom Maas and his wife, Kathy, Lon Maas and his wife, Susie, Chris Blackmore and her husband, Tim, Becky Keck and her husband, Dave, Barb Nieders and her husband, Rick, Glenda Hild and her husband, Tom, Gary Moran, Carlene Williams and her husband, Randy, Tim Moran and his wife, Teresa, and Rhonda Brinks Long and her husband, Tobi Long; great-nieces and great-nephews, Shawn Merker, Erik Merker and his wife, Stef, Tammy Blair and her husband, Jim, James Richardson, Lindsay Cruz and her husband, Eric, Jacob Maas and his wife, Shelby, Zachary Maas and his wife, Steph, Cassie Blackmore, Shawna Blackmore, Lauren Blackmore, Laura Keck and her husband, William Koch, Lydia Miller and her husband, Brett, Rachael Powell and her husband, Bill, Kelli Lunt and her husband, Nathan, Ryan Nieders and his fiance, Ashley, Kara Nieders, Cody Nieders and his fiance, Julia, Leslie Brink and her husband, Brendan, Tina Peters and her husband, Shawn, Brandy Schenk and her husband, Ryan, Melissa Schade and her husband, Nathan Smith, Brittny Moran, Megan Moran, Carson Moran, Sara Williams and her husband, Jesse, Dell Williams, Jason Brinks and his wife, Shanna, and Ryan Brinks; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Brooklyn Merker, Cameron Merker, Jayden Sutton, Zoe Blair, Colton Cruz, Sienna Cruz, Cohen Maas, Emmalee Maas, Savannah Koch, Malena Miller, Brantley Miller, Cameron Brink, Garrett Brink, Dylan Peters, Melaina Peters, Ashlyn Peters, Tobias Schenk, Reed Schenk, Foster Schade, Mackenzie Moran, Maya Williams, Colin Williams, Haley Williams and Jaxon Brinks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Doyle and John Doyle; a sister-in-law, Violet Doyle; and a brother-in-law, Andrew Maas.

SERVICES: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: Ladies of Charity.
