Jerry Lee Wiley, 72, of 2130 Harrison, formerly of Fowler, died at 10:10 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 6, 2014) in Blessing Hospital. Jerry was born July 20, 1941, in Quincy, a son of John E. and Meta C. Hagmeyer Wiley. He married Glenna Hammond on Oct. 12, 1961, in Knoxville. She survives. Jerry was a graduate of Camp Point Central High School and was employed as a machinist at Gardner-Denver Co. for 42 years. He also had served as a volunteer EMT with Adams County for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Glenna of Quincy; three children, Kevin L. Wiley of Fowler, Brenda (Mike) Wiley Smith of Quincy, and Carla (Jeff Faulkner) Wiley Harker of Champaign; seven grandchildren, Meghann (Jeff) Hagerbaumer of Quincy, Matthew (Wendy) Wiley of Fowler, Kody and Zach Smith, and Aiden, Colleen and Kelsey Harker, all of Quincy; a great-grandson, Everette Wiley of Fowler; a sister, Arlene Barker of Aurora, Colo.; a brother, Leon Wiley of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers in infancy. SERVICES: 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Chaplain James Riley conducting. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. MEMORIALS:
