CLAYTON, Ill. -- Lillian B. Decker, 89, of Clayton, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 23, 2014) in Sunset Home, Quincy.

Born Sept. 11, 1924, in Kinderhook, Lillian was a daughter of Matthew and Lillian Pearl Booker Bullock. She married Ralph Decker on Sept. 14, 1945, in Bluffs. He died Dec. 12, 2000.

Lillian had been employed at Dennis Chicken in Augusta, Motorola in Quincy and also worked for home healthcare. She had been most recently employed by Verlin Perry and aided him in the care of his late wife, Eunetta. Lillian was of the Baptist faith and attended Northside Baptist Church in Clayton.

Survivors include a son, Lester M. Bullock (Sharon), of Vine Grove, Ky.; a grandson; four great-grandsons; three great-great-grandsons; and numerous nieces, including four special nieces, Martha Campbell, Diana Lynch and Peggy and Ruth Sparrow.

In addition to her husband, Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terry Decker; and six siblings, Frances Sparrow, Betty Vanetta, Dorothy Schaff, Virginia Forden, Marvin "Jack" Bullock and Matthew Eugene Bullock.

SERVICES: Wednesday, Feb. 26, in South Side Cemetery, Clayton.

VISITATION: There was no visitation.

MEMORIALS: Northside Baptist Church, Clayton.
