Jennifer Lee Rost, 46, died at 2:48 a.m. Saturday (March 29, 2014) in her parents' home at 620 S. 43rd St.

Jennifer was born Jan. 28, 1968, in Quincy, a daughter of Cletus L. and Delores J. Deverman Webster. She married Glennon J. Rost on Sept. 14, 1991. They were divorced.

Jennifer was a 1986 graduate of West Pike High School and attended Culver-Stockton College. She had previously worked at the State Bank of Hull, State Street Bank, the Newman Clinic and worked for eight years at Chaddock.

Jennifer loved all kinds of sports. In high school, she was a cheerleader, and she played basketball, volleyball and softball. She loved watching her three children participate in sporting events. Her hobbies included Zumba dancing, fishing, scrapbooking, music and reading. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Hull, and had currently been attending The Crossing in Quincy.

Survivors include her three children, Specialist Myron Taylor Rost, U.S. Army, of Fort Bragg, N.C., and Randi A. Rost and Chandler J. Rost, both of Quincy; her parents, Lyndell and Delores "Dee" Chaplin of Quincy; her former husband, Glennon J. Rost of Quincy; two sisters, Lori J. (Randy) Schwedes of Quincy and Kathy L. (Mike) Wear of Palmyra; an aunt, Marilyn Deverman of Columbia, Mo.; two nieces, Emily Schwedes and Lauryn Wear; and two nephews, Ethan and Jacob Schwedes.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Cletus Webster; her maternal grandparents, Julius and Mildred Deverman; and her paternal grandparents, Orville and Ruby Webster.

SERVICES: A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Lefever conducting. Burial will be in Kinderhook Cemetery, Kinderhook.

VISITATION: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
