Bobbie D. Sparks Heather Obituary
CLAYTON, Ill. -- Bobbie D. Sparks Heather, 60, of Clayton, died at 10:38 a.m. Thursday (May 15, 2014) in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

Born July 7, 1953, in Oxford, Miss., Bobbie was a daughter of Shirley and Ruby Sparks. She married Robert Heather Sr. He survives.

Mrs. Heather was a devoted housewife, loving mother, loving friend, loving aunt, and loving "Nana" to many. Bobbie enjoyed her grandson James Robert, whom she dearly loved. Bobbie was loved and honored to be with friends and family. She loved spending time with Diane; her grandchildren; and especially her daughter, Regina; as well as Bobby Jo, and so many friends and loved ones. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Regina Marie Heather (Stephen Szuflita); two sons, Adam (Bobby Jo) Heather and Robert P. Heather Jr.; her grandchildren, James Heather, Shana Allen, Brandon Heather, Cassie Randolph, Erik Heather, Anthony Szuflita, Jeffrey Heather, Destiny Heather, Abbie Heather, Molly Heather, Sabastian Heather, Dorian Heather, Alia Heather, Cassie Cunningham, Chandre Cunningham and Olivus Rocklon Heather's; a sister, Diane (John) Cunningham; two brothers, Danny Sparks and Gerald Sparks; a sister-in-law, Jodi (Jesse) Wortham; three brothers-in-law, David (Cheryl) Heather, John (Laura) Heather and Ted (Donna) Heather; and her nieces and nephews, Bonnie (Larry) Crook, Daniel (Franny) Sparks, Anita (Bobby) Jobe, Renee Wortham, Karen Wortham, and Jesse Lee Wortham Jr., Jacob Heather and John Heather Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Margaret C. Heather.

SERVICES: Bobbie was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton.
