CLAYTON, Ill. -- Pamela S. Cantrell, 58, of Clayton, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday (June 9, 2014) at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. Born Feb. 9, 1956, in Quincy, Pamela was a daughter of Lloyd and Lulu Mae Havens DeJaynes. She married George A. Cantrell April 1, 1978, in Quincy. He survives. Pamela was employed as the office manager at Huck's Fixtures in Quincy. Survivors in addition to her husband are two sons, David Cantrell and his fiance, Jenny Sherwood, of Mendon, and Geordan Cantrell of Clayton; three grandchildren, Machaela Jo Cantrell of Clayton, Anthony Thomas Cantrell of Mendon and Lilly Sue Cantrell of Quincy; two sisters, Janet DeJaynes of Quincy and Diana Keokham and her husband, Xanexay, of Mount Sterling; two brothers, Stanley DeJaynes and his wife, Kathy, of Kelso, Wash., and Michael DeJaynes and his wife, Pam, of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Daniel Lloyd DeJaynes. SERVICES: 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, in the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton by Lekha Mayes. Cremation rites have been accorded. VISITATION: Friday from 1 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home. MEMORIALS: Pamela S. Cantrell Memorial Fund.
