Kennard R. Allensworth Sr. Obituary
Kennard R. Allensworth, Sr., 78, of 305 Royal Oaks Ave., was called home on July 11, 2014.

He was born Jan. 13, 1936, in Adams County, a son of Reuben and Myrtle Hughes Allensworth. He married Sandra Platt Sisk on May 22, 1988. She survives.

He lived in the Liberty area most of his life. Mr. Allensworth retired from Knapheide Manufacturing where he had worked for 26 years. He was a member of Liberty Christian Church.

In addition to his wife Sandy, Kennard is also survived by children Verlenna Sisk, Michelle Sisk, Samantha Watkins, Gage Sisk, Kennard Allensworth Jr. and Sherry Smith; grandchildren, including Trista Sisk, Tiffany Sisk, Brianna Sorrill, Jordan Sorrill, Anthony Sisk, Bryce Fredericks, Kruse Allensworth, Summer Allensworth and Shawn Rowsey; great-grandchildren, Makiya Sisk and Addison Sisk; and two sisters, June Bugg and Darlene Brown. Numerous other relatives including grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Kennard was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter; two sisters, Millie Tournear and Wilma Uppinghouse; a brother, Ray Allensworth; and a stepson, Bill Rowsey.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Xander Cemetery, Liberty.

VISITATION: 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: Blessing Cancer Center.
