Jerry Robin "Rob" Kauffman Obituary
AUGUSTA, Ill. -- Jerry Robin "Rob" Kauffman, 44, of Augusta, died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014, in his home.

Born Sept. 27, 1969, in Quincy, Rob was a son of Lawrence Kauffman and Bonita Newton Albers.

Rob was a truck driver and was self-employed at the time of his death. He was a graduate of Brown County High School, and he enjoyed attending flea markets and loved gardening.

Survivors include his father, Lawrence Kauffman of Augusta; two sisters, Connie Frese (Virgil) of Quincy and Diana McCarthy (Kevin) of Virginia, Ill.; two brothers, Cary "Butch" Sebers of Marengo and Larry Kauffman of Austin, Texas; a stepfather, Roger Albers of Golden; two aunts, Helen Kauffman of Augusta and Wanda Newton Moreland of Springfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonita Albers; a brother, Gary "Herbie" Kauffman; and his beloved English bulldog, Matilda.

SERVICES: Rob was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in the Hamilton Funeral Home, Clayton, conducted by the Rev. Linda Murray. Burial will be in South Side Cemetery, Clayton.

VISITATION: One hour before services Saturday in the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in memory of his late mother.
