MEREDOSIA, Ill. -- Mark "Sparky" Ruyle, 50, of Meredosia, died Friday (Aug. 8. 2014) at his residence. He was born Oct. 24, 1963, in Beardstown, a son of Leon and Carol Pulling Ruyle. Mr. Ruyle was a 1981 graduate of Meredosia High School. He began working as a cook at age 16 at several area restaurants, most recently at the Approach in Meredosia. He was also employed at Cargill Elevator in Meredosia. Mark was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals. He is survived by his "Million Dollar Lady," Kelly Huddleston of Meredosia; his mother, Carol Ruyle of Meredosia; two sisters, Renee (Daniel) Hardwick of Meredosia and Leigh Ann (Brian) Test of Quincy; five nieces and nephews, Trevin and Kelsey Hardwick, Alexandra Crow and Shane, and Patrick Test; and four great-nieces and great-nephews, Luca, Darian, Jordan, and Dylan. He was preceded in death by his father. SERVICES: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the Buchanan and Cody Funeral Home, Meredosia. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Meredosia.
