Robert C. "Bob" VonderHaar, 70, of 3214 Rutledge Place, Quincy, died at 7:34 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 17, 2011) in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. Bob was born Feb. 10, 1941, in Quincy, a son of Albert H. and Edith A. Brink VonderHaar. He married Donna R. Richmiller on Nov. 11, 1961, in Quincy's St. Francis Catholic Church and she survives. Bob worked as the transportation director at Huck Fixture, where he was employed for 50 years prior to retiring. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He made his faith and his family his priority. Bob was a sports fan, and especially loved following the St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Cardinals. He also was a very talented woodworker and carpenter. In addition to his wife Donna, survivors include his three children, Stephanie (William) Dorethy, Laura (Greg) Dreyer and Brian (Gina) VonderHaar, all of Quincy; grandchildren, Diana Copeland, Jessica Williams and Nicholas Dorethy, Brandon and Zachary Starr, Abby and Brady Dreyer, Krystle and Matthew VonderHaar; four great-grandchildren, Evan Wootton, Ethan and Olivia Williams and Faith VonderHaar; one sister, Mary Ann VonderHaar of Quincy; two sisters-in-law, Dolores (Bill) Angell and Dorothy (Marvin) Canterbury; and many nieces and nephews. SERVICES: 9:45 a.m. Wednesday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home with a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Hagstrom conducting. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home with a parish prayer service at 6 p.m. MEMORIALS:
