Elnora Donelson, 84, of Quincy, died at 3:55 p.m. Friday (Nov. 2, 2012) in Good Samaritan Home. Born Nov. 6, 1927, in Quincy, Elnora was the daughter of Sam and Mabel Lugena Hogge. She married Morris Donelson on May 14, 1945, in Palmyra, Mo. He died on May 3, 2000. A member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Elnora was also active with Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Elks Lodge 100 and South Side Boat Club. She enjoyed playing on her computer, creating arts and crafts and going to Kelly's with her friends. Survivors include a son, Ronald Donelson (Linda) of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two grandchildren, Danielle Swiontek (Chris) of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Brandy Donelson of Tulsa, Okla.; and dear friends, Mark and Trudy Johnson of Quincy. Mrs. Donelson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris; and a son, Gregory Donelson. SERVICES: 10 a.m. Saturday graveside services will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra, Mo., by the Rev. Timothy White. VISITATION: There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the services. ARRANGEMENTS: Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home, Quincy.
