URSA, Ill. -- Lucille Stuffing, 91, of Good Samaritan Home, Quincy, formerly of Ursa, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 4, 2012) in Good Samaritan Home.

She was born Oct. 6, 1921, in West Ely, Mo., a daughter of George Leonard and Christina Wilhelmina Mette Dehm. On Feb. 4, 1978, she married Donald Stuffing in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Quincy. He died March 18, 1983.

Mrs. Stuffing had been employed by International Shoe for many years and retired as a nurse's aide at Blessing Hospital after more than 30 years.

She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, the Evening Section of the Ladies Aid and Federated Lutheran Women.

Survivors include a niece, Norma Jean (Kieth) Donley of Loraine; a nephew, Maurice (Kay) Knueppel of Taylor, Mo.; several nieces and nephews on the Stuffing and Voorhis side of the family; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a sister-in-law, Dee Dehm, formerly of Taylor, Mo.

In addition to her husband, Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Sylvester and Leonard Dehm; four sisters, Elnora Knueppel and Henrietta, Frieda and Rosina Dehm; and a nephew, Bill Dehm.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Martin Eden conducting. Burial will be in New Providence Cemetery near Ursa.

VISITATION: 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

MEMORIALS: Concordia Seminary, St. Louis; Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind.; or Concordia University, Seward, Neb.
