HULL, Ill. -- Harold D. Clary Sr., 66, of Hull, died Friday (Dec. 28, 2012) in Willow Care Center, Hannibal, Mo. He was born in Springfield, Ill., on Dec. 25, 1946, a son of Robert and Gladys Francis Clary. He married Mary Ann Shermann of Hannibal and later was with Delores Akers from West Virginia for more than 30 years. Harold attended school at West Pike High School, then worked for Prince Manufacturing in Quincy for several years. He last worked for Hollister Whitney in Quincy for years until his health failed. Harold was a CB radio enthusiast and loved to talk on his CB. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing on the river and hunting mushrooms in his free time, along with cutting and splitting wood and working on cars. Survivors include three sons, Travis, David, and Bobby Clary, all of Hull; three daughters, Belinda, Tammy, and Dawn, all of Texas; two brothers, Bob and Lonnie Clary, both of Quincy; a sister, Janet Miller of Barry; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICES: 2 p.m. Thursday in Niebur Funeral Chapel, Barry, with the Rev Earl Wiseman conducting. Burial will be in Kinderhook Cemetery.
