HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Marvin E. Clark, 80, of Hannibal, died at 7:55 p.m. Monday (Dec. 31, 2012) at the Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal

Mr. Clark was born Feb. 9, 1932, in Hannibal, to Ernest and Alleen Lightbody Clark. He was married on July 10, 1959, to Dobrinka Pavlovic in Burlington, Iowa. She survives.

Marvin was a 1950 graduate of Hannibal High School. He retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad as a conductor after 42 years of service.

Marvin enjoyed gardening and watching St. Louis Cardinal's Baseball. He especially enjoyed trips with his wife to watch the Cardinals in spring training at St. Petersburg, Fla., and Jupiter, Fla. Marvin was a Third Degree member of the Hannibal Knights of Columbus Council No. 907 and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where he enjoyed being an usher for many years.

Also surviving are five children, Martin Clark, Archie Clark, Katherine Cornelius, Stephen Clark and Suzanne Ridenhour; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Thursday Mass of Christian burial will be in the Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal, with the Rev. Mike Quinn and the Rev. Pat Pierceall officiating. Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery in Hannibal.

Pallbearers will be Darryl Pryor, Tom Murphy, Robbie Ferrel, Roy Que Ferrel Jr., Gary Tucker and Jerry Distler.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Willett, James Murphy, Kenny Dusenberry and Harley Hirner.

VISITATION: Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of the service in the church.

MEMORIALS: Holy Family Catholic Church in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal.
