HAMILTON, Ill. -- Todd William LeMatty, 51, of Hamilton, lost his battle with cancer at 11:18 p.m. Monday (Jan. 14, 2012) at his home in Hamilton, surrounded by his family, with his wife by his side. He was born on July 14, 1961, in Keokuk, Iowa, a son of Clarence W. "Bill" and Barbara Jean Hayden LeMatty. He married Lisa Marie Prindle on March 8, 2001, in Keokuk. She survives in Hamilton. Todd graduated from Keokuk High School. He was employed by Steel Castings/Titan Wheel in Keokuk. He attended All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk. Todd played lead guitar for several local bands, including Keokuk Assassins, the 1Z, the Packard Brothers, Love Junkie and Full Throttle, which he played with from 1979 to 2012. Todd also enjoyed song writing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Lindsay LeMatty of San Diego, Jacob LeMatty of San Francisco, Kristi (Danny) Wells of Hamilton, and Tyler Hills of Hamilton; and two grandchildren, Karli Wells and Easton Wells. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICES: 1 p.m. Saturday memorial service will be in the Lamporte-St. Clair Funeral Home, Hamilton. Cremation rites have been accorded.
