Evelyn Kuhn died at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo., on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. She was 77 years old. She was born to Russel Janssen and Edna Tournear Janssen in Quincy, where she spent most of her younger years and met and married the love her life, Ralph Kuhn. Evelyn and Ralph have lived in the Grand Valley, Colo., area for 42 years. Evelyn enjoyed listening to gospel music and cat fishing, and believed in unconditional love to everyone.She is survived by her spouse, Ralph A. Kuhn; two sons, Mark Harris and Rick Harris; three daughters, Chonnie Cutsforth, Tammy Grogan and Theresa Miller; one sister, Darlene Verheyen; as well as 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren to cherish her memories. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Monte Miller; and one brother, John Janssen. SERVICES: 11 a.m. Wednesday service of remembrance will be held in Victory Life Church in Fruita, Colo. Burial will take place in Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction. VISITATION: 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Martin Mortuary in Grand Junction.
