Kay Roger Walton, 79, husband of Janice Karen Ancell Walton, died Tuesday (April 2, 2013) at his Georgetown, S.C., home. Born on March 21, 1934, in Quincy, he was a son of the late John Joseph Walton and Frances Matilda Carl Walton. Mr. Walton retired after many years of service with International Paper Co. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Kevin Walton of Good Hope, Ill., Kip Walton (Soona) of Waynesboro, Pa., and Kyle Walton (Sherry) of Georgetown; one daughter, Kim Vahle (Gene) of Georgetown; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dale Walton of Florida and Glen Walton of Mendon; and one sister, Betty Wiemelt of Quincy. He was predeceased by a son, Kerry Francis; and three grandsons, Enrico Curto, Mathew Tyler and Nicholas Gage Walton. SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at a later date.
