Albert Cisco Obituary

CAMP POINT, Ill. - Albert E. Cisco, 83, of Camp Point, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at Timberpoint Health Care Center, Camp Point.
Albert was born Dec. 8, 1932, in Waynesville, a son of Alfred and Sylvia Russell Cisco. He married Doris Bain on July 9, 1958, in Springfield. She survives.
Albert served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955 as a gunner's mate. He worked at Jaeger Beauty and Barber Supply in Quincy for 30 years, where he became manager. He then worked in maintenance at Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ.
Albert built the family home and routinely planted a one-acre vegetable garden every summer. He loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Doris, include two children, Connie Wright of Camp Point and Michael Eugene (Kelly) Cisco of Louisiana, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Travis Kyle Cisco, Nicholas Ryan Cisco, Leah Mae-June (Jonathan) Reagan, Mika Reanna Cisco, Angela Sue Wright, Chad Michael (Lindsay) Wright, Joshua Eugene (ReAnn) Wright, JoAnn Wright and Darell Ray Cisco; 13 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Darlene Sparling of Wisconsin.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Steven Ray Cisco; and a sister, Genevieve Watson.
SERVICES: Private graveside services are planned at Quincy Memorial Park with the Rev. Jason Moncofsky conducting.
