Marilyn S. McFadyen

1955 - 2016

QUINCY -- Marilyn S. McFadyen, 61, of Quincy, died at 5:20 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016, at Blessing Hospital.

Born April 16, 1955, in Lafayette, Ind., Marilyn was a daughter of Charles C. and Carolyn A. Webster Kerr. She married David McFadyen on Feb. 14, 1981, in Marshall. He survives.

Marilyn and her husband David were active members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG). She enjoyed shopping, flower gardening, going to the boat and being with and taking care of her friends. Most of all she loved being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Marilyn was a school bus driver for the Quincy Public School District for 21 years until her retirement. She was currently employed at the Swiss Colony Company in Hannibal, Mo., as a payment specialist.

Survivors include her father, Charles Kerr of Lafayette; husband, David of Quincy; two daughters, Kristin McFadyen of Twisp, Wash., and Michele Lord of Palmyra, Mo.; a son, Michael McFadyen of Quincy; three grandchildren, Gavin McFadyen of Palmyra, Collin Lord of Quincy and Ryleah Lord of Quincy; three brothers, Bill Kerr and Bob Kerr, both of Beloit, Wis., and Tim Kerr of Panama City, Fla.; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Kerr.

VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
