THOMSEN, Oge
Born January 15, 1924 in Susanville, CA. Passed Away
February 15, 2014 in Whittier, CA. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. Oge served with the Army Infantry from 1943-45 on the European Theatre and was awarded the Bronze star.
Oge was the owner and operator of Radiator Service Company in Whittier, CA for over 20 years and retired in 1978 to travel and enjoy life with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, of 67 years, Joyce; brother, Hans; sister, Mary Wakefield; sons, Paul, Doug and Larry; daughter, Susan; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Rose Hills Mortuary Visitation Bldg., Gate #1, 3888 Workman Mill RD., Whittier, CA, 90601, 562-699-0921. Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.; 11716 East Floral Dr., Whittier, CA, 90601, 562-699-7431.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
