He was a proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Al was among the first to greet me at St. Margaret's in Palm Desert. His love for the mission and ministry of the church was an inspiration to me. As I lay at death's door his care and compassion for my wife and children was timely, generous, and helpful beyond words. My life is richer for knowing and working with Al. May he enjoy God's Peace that passes all understanding and may he rise in glory!
