Of Fresno/Coarsegold, CA passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the age of 53. Jamie was born to Joe and Jacque Presley on January 12, 1960 in Pasadena, CA. She graduated from Glendora High School in 1978 and graduated from Cypress College with a degree in Mortuary Science.
Jaime was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and her Uncle Zeddy Barker and Uncle Shell and Aunt Elsie Barker and many beloved pets. Jaime is survived by her partner Sue Low, step-mother Georgia Presley, uncles Leroy Barker and Jerry Presley, aunt Mona Cook and many other aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Jaime was a licensed embalmer as well as a licensed funeral director and crematory manager. She worked for Whitehurst Funeral Home for many years before she started her own successful trade embalming business. She was known in the business for her unwavering dedication and perfection to the families she served. She touched many lives with her loving, caring & giving ways. She had an indomitable positive spirit in everything she did. She had a wicked sense of humor, loved animals, playing golf, building things and the great outdoors. She blessed all those around her and enriched the lives of those who knew her well. She will be truly and deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakdale Memorial Chapel, 1401 S. Grand Avenue, Glendora, California. She will be laid to rest in Oakdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests that remembrances be made to Hinds Hospice in Fresno, CA or your local SPCA in her memory.
