ARCHAMBAULT, Shirley Ann May
Shirley Ann May Archambault, Beloved mother and grandmother, Shirley (Jendrian, Daniel) Archambault peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family, Saturday July 21, 2012 at the age of 76, from complications of kidney failure and other illnesses. She was born October 1, 1935 in West Seneca, New York to Frederick and Alvina Jendrian, Shirley was the eldest of four children raised on the family farm in North Tonawanda, New York. She moved to California in 1967 with husband, Gerald (Jerry) Daniel and children, Renee and Aaron. In 1987 she remarried to Walter Archambault of Norwalk, CA.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Renee Moore (Randy), son, Aaron Daniel (Mary, Metta), step-son Steven Archambault (Yvonne), brother, Gerald Jendrian, and 10 grandchildren. Shirley is preceded in death by husband, Walter Archambault, brothers, Richard Jendrian, and Ronald Jendrian.
Shirley owned and operated Kolman Prosthetics & Orthotics in Whittier, CA with husband Jerry. Years later she opened S. M. Daniel Company, which operated 27 years before closing in 2010. Shirley was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church in Whittier, CA, the Whittier chapter of Soroptimist International, and S.C.O.R. Cardiac Cyclist's Club. Shirley lived and loved life to its fullest, traveling and spending time with friends or family. She enjoyed nature, cooking, and needlework.
A private graveside service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA on July 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
