Daniel Collett Obituary
In Loving Memory of
Daniel Paul Collett
Jan. 13, 1970 - Nov. 8, 2011

On Tuesday, November 8, 2011, our dearest Dan went to be with his Heavenly Father. Dan was born at Kaiser Hospital in Bellflower, and brought home to Glendora where he lived his entire life.
Dan loved everyone and everyone loved Dan. He would light up a room with his warm presence and contagious smile. He had a special ability to make friends and relate to others. His gifts were evident when coaching youth sports, where he would praise a child's efforts regardless of their abilities. He had the athletic skills to do many things well, as many of his friends can attest.
Dan leaves behind his loving wife Kim; wonderful sons Campbell and Carson; parents Paul and Jan; brothers David (Angela) and Richard (Lisa); nephews and nieces James, Ford, Amanda, Nolan, Lauren, Sam, Rachel, Abigail, Emma, and Joshua; aunt Sandy Gregory, uncle Bob Gregory, uncle Tom and aunt Sue Collett; cousins Matthew and Melissa Collett; wonderful mother-in-law Bonnie Urban; and brother-in-law Mike (Debbie) Urban. He also leaves behind many, many special friends whom he loved dearly.
Dan was predeceased by his father-in-law Joe Urban and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Please know that Dan is in Heaven with the loved ones whom have gone before him. We take great comfort in one day being reunited with him. Dan's amazing voice will be a welcome addition to the Heavenly choir.
Please join us in celebration of Dan's life on Friday, November 18, 2011, at 1:00 pm at the Church of the Open Door, located at 701 W. Sierra Madre Ave., Glendora, CA 91741. A reception will immediately follow.
The family wishes to express their love and gratitude for the overwhelming support and love we have received.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established by Dan's friends for the benefit of his family.
