Dorothy WILLIS Obituary

WILLIS, Dorothy J.

Dorothy J. Willis, aged 90, died on January 25, 2015. Born in Long Beach California to Donald and Margaret Parker in May 1924, she graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and began a career in elementary education and administration. In 1944 she married Leland J. Willis, who survives her, as do two sons, Kirk and Kraig (Sarah), four grandchildren, Whitney, Peter, Sarah, and Abby, and one great-grandson, Oscar. Devoted to her family and friends, she was an intelligent, caring, generous, and hard-working woman who enriched the lives of her friends and family immeasurably.
