LAWRENCE A.
"LARRY" BRENNAN

A resident of Newhall passed away at home February 18th, at the age of 88 years. A native of Montreal he came to Los Angeles in 1972 where he was a reinsurance and surplus lines insurance executive for twenty five years. As a young man he served in the Canadian Air Force during WWII, and later played and refereed Canadian Professional football.

Larry was a parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Santa Clarita, and a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. A longtime resident of Granada Hills he was for many years a parishioner at Saint Euphrasia Catholic Church in Granada Hills.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan (Curran) Brennan, in 1988; and is survived by five children, Nancy Brennan, Kevin Brennan (Deborah), Dan Brennan (Allison), Peter Brennan (Patti), and Peggy Brennan (Jeff Strong); and 11 grandchildren.

The Rosary Service will be held at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills, on Tuesday, February 25th, 5:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at the same location Wednesday, February 26th, 1:00 p.m., with burial service immediately following at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery.
