Warren Bogardus of Alta Loma, was born and raised in the state of Connecticut. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Theater. After the war, in 1947 he and a friend traveled to Southern California where Warren decided to stay. He went back to Connecticut to propose to his childhood sweetheart Marcia. They then married and remained in Southern California for the remainder of their lives. He worked for the Pacific Telephone as an installer for 37 years. Warren was a loving Christian man, one who loved woodworking and working on old clocks. He was predeceased by his wife Marcia and is survived by his son Paul (Lila), daughter Susan (Brad), grandchildren Joy (Jeff), Josh (Kristin) and five wonderful great grandchildren. Services will be held at Rose Hills, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, CA 90601 on Saturday, August 30th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to DAV, 4351 University Ave, Riverside, CA.
