Gloria C. Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was born in Zachary, LA on November 17, 1932, to Viola Dickens Dunn and William Henry Dunn. She began her educational journey in St. Louis, Missouri, where she met her devoted husband, Napoleon Davis. They later moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she pursued a career as a Medical Technician and was blessed with their first born, the late Ronald E. Davis. In 1955, life carried them to Pasadena, California, where she later gave birth to their second son, V. Jerome Davis of Mesa, Arizona. While in Pasadena, she worked at the California Institute of Technology as a research assistant in biology, Co-Owned the Award-winning restaurant, The Fishery on N. Lake Avenue until 1996, and served at the Pasadena Senior Center where she supervised food service activities until 2008.
Gloria is survived by Husband, Napoleon Davis; Son, V. Jerome Davis; Daughter-in-law, Daviette Davis; Grandchildren: Tiffany A. Davis, Khrystyl A. Davis, Jason C.M. Davis, Alisha N.M. Fatunla, and Sterling J.R. Davis; Grandson-in-law Olubankole O. Fatunla; Great-Granddaughter Isabella I. Fatunla; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Gone But Never Forgotten
