DOROTHY "DOT" HUDSON
In Loving Memory
Dorothy died June 22nd, in the loving care of Mameleh & Tateleh Senior Living Home and Companion Hospice. She was born August 18, 1929 in Peekskill, NY, to Marion Simmons and William O'Brien. Dot was a devoted wife and mother, marrying Raymond Hudson on November 3, 1952 at the Assumption Church in Peekskill, NY, and was widowed in 2000. She moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1964 and resided at Oakridge Mobile Home Park for over 30 years, a community she loved dearly, before the tragic fire of 2008 took her home.
She is survived by her children, Gary Hudson and his wife Vicki Spitzack, of Santa Rosa, CA, and Dawn Dickson and her husband Ron Dickson, of Seattle, WA; and her siblings, Charles O'Brien, Mary O'Shaughnessy, Jack O'Brien and Patricia Mancini.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on her birthday, August 18th, 10:00 a.m., in Brand Park's Japanese Garden, 1601 W. Mountain St., Glendale, CA 91201. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Dorothy Hudson to Southern California Hospice Foundation,
