Anthony DiRenzo, 94, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014, at the Colony Center Nursing Home in Abington, following a short period of failing health. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Frank and Rose (Merlaro) DiRenzo. He had been a resident of the town of Abington for the past fifty years. Mr. DiRenzo was an avid sportsman. He was a retired mechanic and also a member of the Teamsters Union. He is survived by several grandchildren; and a nephew, Ronnie Lembo of Bridgewater. He was also the brother of the late Irma Lembo. A funeral service was held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street (Rte. 123), Brockton, Thursday, March 6, at 10 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
