Lauri J. Abrams, 53, of Sarasota, Fla., passed away Monday, June 2, 2014. She was born in Weymouth, Mass., and moved to Sarasota, Fla., from Abington, Mass., in 2007. She was a shift supervisor with CVS for 25 years. Lauri was an avid shell and figurine collector. She truly enjoyed rooting for her home teams, the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. She loved relaxing at the beach and spending time with her family. Lauri was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Nancy Murphy; sister, Beth Ellen Moynihan; her beloved German Shepherd, Priscilla, and cat, Stinky. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, David Abrams; son, Leland D. Conti; daughters, Stephanie Souza (Todd Costa) and Maria L. Conti (Brian Mathieu); brother, Richard Murphy (Becky); sisters, Lisa Curtin (John) and Melinda Towne; three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lillian and Maggie; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
