Marcia A. (Baker) Tubbs, 97, of Abington, formerly of Hanover, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014. Daughter of the late General and Nannie (Manning) Baker, she was born in Brockton, July 1, 1917. Wife of the late Elzy B. Tubbs Sr., she was the mother of the late Elzy B. Tubbs Jr. She is survived by her grandchildren, Elzy B. Tubbs III and his wife Dawn Martin-Tubbs of Marshfield, Richard D. Tubbs and his wife Tammy Tubbs of Moorepark, Calif., April (Tubbs) Angelo and her husband Nicholas Angelo of Stoughton and Carmen (Tubbs) Sterling and her husband Clive Sterling of Falmouth. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Tina (Baker) Solomon of Brockton, Harrison Baker of Falmouth, Raymond Baker of Bridgewater and Melbourne Baker of Brockton.
