Werner K. Maas of Sudbury died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from heart failure. He was 84 years old. Originally from Wiesbaden, Germany, he was employed as a manager for Westinghouse Elevator Company for many years. He was preceeded in death by the love of his life Elfriede (Schuster). Werner was a loving father of Rainer and his wife Sarah of Acton, MA and Ralph and his wife Lina of Framingham, MA. He was also a beloved and caring grandfather (Opa) of Annika, Isabel and Olivia Maas. A celebration of his life will be held at Duckett-J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA on Sunday, July 6. Visiting hours are from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A reception will follow at the Wayside Inn, 72 Wayside Inn Road, Sudbury, MA from 7:15 to 9:00 PM. Hors d'oevres & wine will be served.
