Mr. Turner contributed to a Golden Age enjoyed by Jeffersonville. With the help of his inspiration, good humor, hard work and that of a confluence of similarly resourceful, talented, and energetic people willing to focus their energy in community projects and progress, this small community enjoyed a never equaled quality of life and optimism. He and his generation earned their reputation as The Greatest Generation. We are better for having known him and poorer with his passing. Peace be yours.

So sorry for the loss of uncle Wesley. I have such fond memories of him, mainly relating to his sense of humour, his kindness and his eating habits! Each time I saw him, I saw my grandma too. I'm so happy that he was surrounded by such a wonderful and supportive family. RIP uncle Wesley xxx

Mr. Turner was my piano teacher. He was tough but I learned a lot. He would be proud of me, I can balance a cup of water on my hands as I play now. And he called Kathy and I clowns. I still enjoy playing. Thank you Mr.Turner.
