Warren A. Berglund, 93, formerly of Arlington and Needham, MA., went to his eternal home with our Lord on October 19, 2013. Born on August 3, 1920 in Worcester, MA. to Christian and Hannah Berglund. He was raised in the family Mortuary business in Arlington but after serving in the First Marine Division in the Pacific from 1942 to 1945, he decided when he came home not to follow in his father's profession, and chose the trades. He was a Master Pipefitter for 35 years, being foreman and Superintendent in the Commercial end of the business. When he came home from the Marines he married Dora Nilsson in March 1945 and she predeceased him in July 1998. He moved to Bradenton, Florida in March 1984 and enjoyed his retirement in the Sunny State of Florida. He was a member of Oneco United Methodist Church, Sahib Shrine and Manatee Shrine Club. He married Jeanette Stoll November 2002. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Jeanette; son, Gary of Davenport, Iowa; daughter, Karen Casella of Maryland; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
