My thoughts and prayers to the Femia family. Such fun childhood memories of Dick. Such a tease. He was at his best on Halloween climbing up the fire escape in a knit hat pretending he was breaking in. Had me so scared. And those eyes! I will never forget his beautiful eyes.

Remembering my Uncle Richie with fondness, all the "naughty" poems he taught me and I memorized and have since taught my nephews, the teasing me of my childhood crush, "Not Matthew!" just to make my face turn red, counting to ten to see if I could keep a straight face while he tried to make me laugh, helping my dad build a patio at our house with his plumber pants on and then decades later surprising him with my 7th grade students at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre while on a field trip. I loved him very much and so thankful for the joy and memories he brought to my childhood!
