Alberto A. Albert Nardone 84, of Wrentham, died peacefully, Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Serenity Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham, following a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Anna T. (Lippolis) Nardone and the late Rosaria Rose (Giancristofaro) Nardone who died in 1971. Born March 23, 1928 in Franklin, a son of the late Alessandro and Mary (Constantina) Nardone, he was a longtime resident of Wrentham, and was a former resident of Franklin. Albert was raised and educated in Italy, and came back to the United States at age 19. He retired after many years working as a laborer at the former Kendall Mills in Walpole. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, woodworking, traveling, especially to Italy, Spain and Portugal and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Marys Church in Wrentham. In addition to his wife of 37 years, he is survived by a sister Laura Tenaglia of Franklin, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Julia Signoriello. A Funeral Mass was held on Monday, Jan. 7th at St. Marys Church 130 South St. Wrentham at 9:00AM. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin.
