Obituary Condolences

Aleck R. Chelman, 93, a resident of Franklin, formerly of Framingham, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at Forge Hill Senior Living Community in Franklin. Born in Hinsdale, Mont., he was the son of the late John and Elvera (Benson) Chelman. Mr. Chelman served in the US Navy during World War II. He worked for the US Air Force for over 32 years, and for Analytical Systems Engineering Corp in Burlington. Aleck is survived by his son, Paul A. Chelman and his wife, Linda, of Franklin; two grandchildren, Evan Chelman and his wife, Lianne, of Framingham, and Julie (Chelman) Sprenkle and her husband, Edward, of Pittsfield. He is also survived by his great-grandson, Aleck John Chelman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Friday, Nov. 19, at 9 a.m., at St. George Church, 74 School St., Framingham. Burial will follow in the family lot in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Grove Street, Framingham. At the familys request, funeral home visiting hours are private. Arrangements are under the care of the Norton Funeral Home, Framingham (www. nortonfuneralhome.com).
