Angelina "Angie" M. Pizzi 86 of Franklin died October 27 in the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. Born in Franklin, September 21, 1926, the daughter of the late Luigi and Carmina (Taddeo) Pizzi, Miss Pizzi was a lifelong Franklin resident. St. Mary's Church was the center of Angie's life her entire life. She had been a daily communicant, a member of the Catholic Women's Club, the Legion of Mary, St. Mary's prayer group. a volunteer at the St. Rocco's festival since its beginning and babysat for the teachers of the CCD program. Angie also volunteered at Fatima Shrine in Holliston. From 1946 and for over 50 years she had made an annual pilgrimage to Canada with a group from St. Mary's. Angie loved the Red sox, gardening and cooking Italian food. She is survived by her brother Michael Pizzi of Franklin, her brother-in-law Walter Nadolny of Franklin and her nephews Walter Nadolny, Jr. and David Nadolny of Franklin. She was the sister of the late Antoinette Nadolny, George and Annie Pizzi. Her funeral will be held on Friday November 2 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary's Church at 10:00. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-8. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Activities Fund of the Maples Rehab. & Nursing Center 90 Taunton St. Wrentham, MA 02093.
