She was also an active member of family activities at the former Irving Glavin Center in Shrewsbury. She was an avid reader, loved crafts, particularly ceramics and scrapbooking. An active parishioner of St. Marys Parish, she served as a Eucharistic Minister, was a member of the Legion of Mary, taught religious education, and started a special needs religious education program in the parish. A loyal and beloved friend, she gathered frequently with classmates from college. Affectionately known as The Button Club, many in the group had known each other since grammar school.
