Ann N. (Normile) Walsh FRANKLIN Ann N. (Normile) Walsh, 78, a Franklin resident for over 50 years, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Milford Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Francis L. Walsh. Born in Arlington, June 13, 1931, a daughter of the late John A. and Lena F. (Baker) Normile, she was raised and educated in Belmont. Mrs. Walsh retired in 1995 from the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she worked for more than 25 years as a licensed practical nurse. She was a communicant of St. Marys Church, and a past president of St. Marys Catholic Womens Club. She was also active in the Franklin Senior Citizens. Surviving in addition to her husband of 56 years are two sons: Stephen G. of Boxford, David M. of Middletown, Conn., three daughters: Karen P. Walsh of Oakland, Calif., Donna M. Martel of Franklin, Patricia E. Walsh of Berkeley, Calif, a brother John A. Normile Jr. of Dover, N.H., seven grandchildren: Davis, Caitlin, Daniel, Emily, and Aidan Walsh, Eileen and Peter Segreve. She was the mother of the late Peter E. Walsh who died in 1984, and the sister of the late Patricia Normile. Relatives and friends were invited to attend her funeral Saturday December 5, 2009 from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., Franklin. www.franklinfuneral.com. A Funeral Mass followed in St. Marys Church. Interment in the family lot in St. Marys Cemetery.
