Appleton H. Schneider of Shirley, MA, formerly of Franklin, MA, has joined his beloved wife Angie, on Friday, July 10, 2015, thus hell again be in Franklin from now on. He is survived by four children: Jack Peluso of San Diego, CA, Gregory O. Appleton of Spring, TX, Richard P. Peluso of Leominster and Christine M. Brumleve of Holden. Also survived by eight grand children, and one great-grandchild, all so much cherished. Ap graduated from Boston University with a degree in psychology which enabled him to analyze why his first career was designing and building commercial and residential (nautical, medieval, etc.) decors. Next, utilizing B.U.s inspiration still, Ap achieved his ultimate fulfillment by becoming a truck drivera position hes held for over a quarter century with New England Motor Freight. Except for a couple years making nightly runs to New Jersey and back, Ap has traveled each and every byway within the Greater Boston area. In retirement, Ap has utilized his time by serving others at the Shirley Council of Aging, the Meals on Wheels Project and volunteering at the Leominster Hospital. Reading at least fifty a yearand publishing thirty seven of his own books (available through Amazon, Lulu.com, Kindle and elsewhere online has essentially taken up all of Aps spare time and been his hobby and avocation. In print is immortality perhaps?? Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, Franklin, on Wednesday, July 15th from 5-7 PM. His funeral service and interment at St. Marys Cemetery are private.
