Beth J. (Swain) Misner 85, of Franklin, died peacefully, at her home Friday January 3, 2014 following an illness. She was the wife of James E. Misner and the late Robert E. Hehn, who died in 1997. Born January 9, 1928 in Tenino, Washington a daughter of the late George L. and Helen J. (Olsen) Swain, she was a longtime Franklin resident and was a former resident of Florida. She was raised and educated in Centralia, Washington and was a homemaker. For many years she volunteered for the FISH Program in Franklin, and was an active member at the Bethany Assembly of God Church in Mendon. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being at the lake, traveling, bowling, golf and football. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert S. Hehn and his wife Susan of Franklin, a daughter Cynthia L. Tessier and her husband Michael of Bellingham, a brother Willard L. Swain of Washington and a sister Ardith D. Swartz of Washington. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Stacy Ann Hehn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Thurs. Jan. 9th, at 11AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin. Interment will follow at Union St. Cemetery, Franklin. A calling hour will be held from 10-11AM.
