Carmela A. Kulch Obituary
Carmela A. (DePasquale) Kulch 93, formerly of Franklin, died Thursday July 21, 2016 at the Blaire House in Milford, following an extended period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Dominic P. Kulch, who died in 1980. Born in Newton, June 2, 1923 a daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria (Bibbo) DePasquale, she was raised and educated in Newton, and had also lived in Gulfport, Florida, before returning to this area. Mrs. Kulch was a longtime employee at Wrentham State School, where she worked in clients accounts, she retired from there in 1990. She was a former member of the Newton Sons of Italy Lodge, and enjoyed traveling, dancing, and cooking. Her favorite thing of all was to spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters; Donna Marie Whatley of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Dorothea Everett of Franklin, a brother Paul DePasquale of Gulfport, Florida, 6 grandchildren; Steven Whatley, Dawn Michelle Jones, Misty Whatley, Kelly Gatewood and her husband Stephen, Courtney Everett, Paul Everett IV and 4 great grandchildren; Lauren, Brian, Brooke and Luke. She is also the sister of the late Maria Nicola Visco, Anthony DePasquale and Dominic DePasquale. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday July 26th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. with a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Franklin at 10AM. Interment at Newton Cemetery will be held privately. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7PM.
